1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Anbagusvi Technologies ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with:
- the website at anbagusvitechnologies.com (the "Website"); and
- the RideOn mobile application for Android and iOS (the "App"), which pairs with a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) enabled vehicle module to provide secure, keyless vehicle access.
In short: RideOn is built to work without a server. Your device pairing information, passwords, and connection data are stored locally on your phone and are not transmitted to, or stored on, Anbagusvi Technologies servers.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Through the RideOn App
The App works directly with your phone's Bluetooth hardware and a paired vehicle module. To do this, it processes:
- Bluetooth device identifiers — the BLE address and advertised name of the vehicle module you pair with.
- Signal strength (RSSI) data — used to show live proximity/radar information and to detect when your vehicle is in range.
- Access password / master recovery key — entered by you to authenticate with your vehicle module.
- App preferences — such as your background-connection setting and light/dark theme choice.
All of the above is stored using your device's local app storage. The App does not require you to create an account, and does not ask for your name, contact details, precise location history, or payment information.
2.2 Through the Website
The Website itself does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party trackers. If you use the contact form, the information you type (name, email, company, message) is only used to open your own email client addressed to us — it is not transmitted to or stored on any server we operate. If you email us directly, we receive and store that correspondence in our mailbox in order to respond to you.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above only to:
- establish and maintain a secure Bluetooth connection between the App and your vehicle module;
- authenticate you before granting vehicle access;
- display connection status, signal strength, and proximity information within the App;
- remember your app preferences between sessions; and
- respond to messages you send us through the Website or by email.
We do not use your information for advertising, do not build behavioral profiles, and do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
4. Data Storage & Security
Pairing data, preferences, and connection state are stored using your device's local storage (via the operating system's standard secure app-storage mechanisms) and remain on your phone. Authentication between the App and your vehicle module uses a password-verification handshake followed by the operating system's native Bluetooth bonding, so your credentials are not transmitted in a readable form over the air.
Because this data lives on your device, you control it directly — for example, by using the "Forget Device" option in the App, or by uninstalling the App, both of which remove locally stored pairing data.
5. App Permissions Explained
RideOn requests the following device permissions, each tied to a specific function:
- Bluetooth (scan / connect): required to discover, pair with, and communicate with your vehicle module.
- Location: required by Android to allow apps to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. RideOn does not use this permission to track or record your geographic location.
- Notifications: used to show a persistent status notification while the background connection service keeps your vehicle link alive.
You can review or revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings app; doing so may limit or disable core App functionality.
6. Third-Party Sharing
We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal information to third parties, except:
- where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process; or
- to protect the rights, property, or safety of Anbagusvi Technologies, our users, or the public.
The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs that transmit personal data off your device.
7. Cookies & Website Tracking
This Website does not set cookies and does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. It is built as a static site with no server-side account system.
8. Data Retention
App data stored on your device persists until you forget/unpair the vehicle device, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Email correspondence sent to us is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to address your inquiry, after which it may be deleted.
9. Children's Privacy
The Website and App are not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. Because most App data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise many of these rights directly — for instance by using the App's "Forget Device" feature or uninstalling the App. For anything else, including correspondence you've sent us, contact us using the details below. See also our GDPR Compliance page for EU/UK-specific rights.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, the Website, or applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Website or App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
